Music
We use The ‘Charanga’ Musical School Scheme which provides teachers with lesson plans, assessment, clear progression, and engaging and exciting whiteboard resources to support every lesson. The Scheme supports all the requirements of the National Curriculum.
The children are given lots of chances to use tuned and untuned instruments and to explore their singing voices. In Year 5 the children are taught to play the ukulele by Mr Stockton and in Year 3 the children learn to play the recorder. Keep tuned to our social media for a few video clips.
